Soon was born and raised in Malaysia.

After finishing secondary school, he then went to Australia and completed his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in Murdoch University, Perth, Australia.

After a few years in Australia, he decided to go to Hong Kong to experience a different culture and challenges. Occasionally, he will also volunteer in the shelter in Malaysia.

Dr. Soon also has a special interest in internal medicine and diagnostic imaging.

When there is spare time, Soon likes to read news, go hiking and hang out with his friends.
